something old
something new
something borrowed
something blue
a silver sixpence in her shoe
rogue diamonds rust in two bottomless buckets held by an arm less child. And she swings them back and forth as they scatter across the faux satin floor. She smiles and her teeth show, pearls tangled in fishing line that her father had discarded months ago.
her eyes shine as nebulas pour out of them and slither down her chest taking in a new home across her belly filled with gaping holes.

her tongue unfurls as she makes room for cascading laughs to roll out
some sick nasty shit

She doesn't exist so you shouldn't worry about the
monsters hidden underneath your bed.
Although this particular one will eat your puppies and throw up a cat
if
insulted.
But don't worry about that
cause it doesn't really happen.
well, that's what my cousin Jimmy said.
I haven't seen him in years.
I think he's dead.
killed in his sleep.
he choked.
on a hair ball.
But I wouldn't worry about that
because if you do believe in her
and think she's under your bed
and lay out a plate of food for her every night
so she doesn't eat your dog
and trigger the tigger
you belong in a mental institution.

She can't get you there.

What you learned from 90's TV shows

Let's recap:

1. If your bra is too tight, it's uncomfortable. If you're a boy and your bra is too tight, I'm uncomfortable.
2. Only some of us stay beautiful unless you go and get elastic perjury.
3. The classroom is no place for the exchange of ideas!
4. It is not nice to push your friend Billy off a roof and then yell "Look neighbors! It's raining Billy!
5. Topanga!
6. And this. (But that's mostly because everyone should)
7. Cathy Santoni is a complete bimbo. She signed up for Shop Class cause she thought it was taught at the mall.
8. It's not martial arts, it's survive. It was invented by the French.
9. Dogs guard; cats watch... and judge
10. Monsters are just frigments of your infactuation

It's interesting enough that you jumped in AND managed to miss the glass. You didn't get shredded into a million pieces and you definitely didn't bounce back. You went right in. It's an adventure ya know?
But don't expect it to happen again. If, by some miracle it does, you'll most likely end up caught in the middle of a wall or with half an eyeball gone.
And nobody wants to walk around with one and a half eyeballs. Sicknasty.

you’re beyond the stretch of your failing fingertips even though your want gazes up through the links that enslave you ripping and binding stories to your mind binding them so tight they can’t escape through your lips and no one knows you have nothing anymore but your nightly company turning daily and didn't your dad say he didn't want you in bad company but this isn't what he meant so leave it be and let you do because here you are nursing bit by bit the rusted skeletons that are the only things that can flee through the bars that keep your chest from caving in onto itself and bleeding from the depths of arms you believe will loosen their hold only if you explore their contents over

The Prisoner's Constraint

A poem using no ascenders or descenders (b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, p, t and y)

no anxiousness

in our seen semiconscious,
even as an over numerous
reconnaissance.

as we raise our consciousness

in a near cosmic canvas
we converse,
use um... excessive exercise

as a

worn worm won
a circumcision.

moreover i see raccoons as mimes

as viruses ooze over an enormous unicorn
in a universe unseen.

we murmur as women

never rise or crow in unison.
we
occur
in
music

The Whole Thing Is A Mess

She left her house for five minutes to buy a box of saltines and now she's back and there it is. Pure mess. Ugly and twisted, kind of like the little piece of Voldemort that was living inside of Harry (when Harry died but not really and chilled out with Dumbledore in the end because you don't just kill off Dumbledore). But it's definitely something with no soul.

Perfectly frigid.

She doesn't really want to touch it and she certainly doesn't want to see it, so she throws a blanket on top of it. The one her ex man-boyfriend-plaything had given her. Cause it's smelly anyways. And she doesn't want it.

Now she has to walk past it every day to and from her work at the Jewish Community Center. She isn't really Jewish, and it isn't really a community center, so it works out ok. She calls it the Jewish Community Center JAIL. A nine to five JAIL. Covered in blankets. Cause she's bad at cleaning up messes. And she has had a lot of ex man-boyfriend-playthings. So it works out ok.

Her job isn't fun. She sits at a desk and talks to people about what activities the JAIL offers. Then she checks if they're Jewish. Most of them aren't. But she lets them in anyways because maybe something interesting will come of it.

She's bored. She turns in her swively chair, brown hair getting caught in her mouth. And in front of her is a blanket.

So she peeks, cause she can't remember what she had covered up before. And there was no mess. Only a sheet of paper.

And it said, "The Whole Thing Was A Mess"
