My name is Mar Trujillo. Mar, like 'sea' in Spanish and Trujillo, like the evil dictator (no relation). I am currently in my last semester of my undergraduate life and will end with a degree in Music Performance and in English Writing. What will I be doing with said degrees you ask?
Well, who the hell knows.
All I know is that I hope to be working in Special Education... or maybe as a behavioral therapist, or an interventionist. I would also like to publish a book. That being said, I enjoy writing poetry and short stories, I speak Spanish as fluently, if not more so, than English and really have enjoyed the hell out of all my traveling experiences.
Nice post! Where did you go for some of your traveling experiences?
ReplyDeleteHiya Adam! This may sound creepy, but I've heard really nice things about you from many different people.
DeleteWell, I've had the great fortune of traveling to Cuba, Mexico and Jamaica on mission and service trips, and have traveled to Italy on an orchestra tour. While my traveling experiences revolve around work or service, I really think I enjoy it more than I would enjoy a typical touristy couple of weeks.
Creepy...
DeleteI bet traveling outside of the typical tourist experience has given you a much more authentic feel of the countries--a pretty hard thing for most tourists to get. I'd love to see some of those kind of experiences come out in your writing!
